Open the 'Plug-in Manager' in the 'File' menu and go to the 'Plug-ins' tab. There click on 'Load' and search for the SunFlow plugin.
In the 'File' menu under 'Export' is an entry 'SunFlow' to export your scene into the .sc file format
Only polygon meshs objects are supported!
At the moment it is better to freeze the objects before exporting
The idea of the plugin is, that you don't have to change your scene before exporting it to SunFlow. It trys to export the XSI materials/lights into the equivalent SunFlow materials/lights.
The following table gives a summary of the XSI materials and the SunFlow materials:
| XSI | SunFlow | Settings in XSI | |
| phong | phong | diffuse specular texture | ![]() |
| lambert | diffuse | diffuse texture | ![]() |
